This new edition of the iconic Dusit Thani has impressed me a lot. Design wise they have mastered the challenge of creating a state-of-the-art 5 star hotel with rich and subtle references to its traditional roots. The rooms feel very cosy by the use of warm colored wooden elements. The highlight is the glazed window front at full room width that is framed by golden elements and the sofa right in front of it that spans the whole width. I spent hours just relaxing there and enjoying the breath taking view of Lumpini park surrounded by the sky scraper skyline. The different smart lighting settings are not too complicated to control thanks to symbols engraved on the different switches. I enjoyed the Bose sound bar easily connected to my phone via Bluetooth. The staff provides excellent service where ever they interacted with me: at the reception (thank you, Khun Arya), the swimming pool area (thank you, Khun Nook), restaurant and the room as well. When I needed assistance with the coffee machine they were quick to provide a helping hand. The Pavillion restaurant serves excellent Thai and Chinese food and the breakfast buffet provides a wide range of foods for different tastes beautifully presented and spread out amply so that guests can have easy access even during busy times. The swimming pool is suitable to swim long laps at an estimated length of 25m. It is worth mentioning that the windows are so well insulated that any traffic noise from the busy road in front of the hotel is kept out. Same applies to insulation in between rooms and room entrance doors close quietly in order not to disturb the neighbouring guests. As a personal request I asked for a rose pedal bath in the very last minute and the staff fulfilled it graciously. Of course, the original location next to both MRT and BTS stations provides for easy public travel options.

A Perfect 10/10 Experience at Dusit Thani Bangkok From the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Bangkok, we were blown away by the level of care and hospitality provided by the staff. Every interaction, from check-in to dining and housekeeping, was warm, attentive, and truly five-star. The concierge team went above and beyond to make our honeymoon extra special with a thoughtful gift and a beautifully presented dessert—such a heartfelt gesture that touched my wife so much she nearly cried. The rebuild of the hotel is nothing short of stunning. The interiors are impeccably designed, blending modern elegance with intricate Thai-inspired details. Every space feels stylish, sophisticated, and exceptionally well thought out. The rooms are a perfect example of this attention to detail, featuring premium amenities that truly elevate the stay. From the smart toilet with heated seats and a bidet to the automated curtains that rise as you enter, every feature exudes luxury and convenience. And the inclusion of a Dyson blow dryer? A game-changer for anyone who appreciates a perfect blowout. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the live jazz trio performing in the bar/lounge area. It created such an incredible ambiance, adding to the already magical atmosphere of the hotel. We sincerely hope this never changes—it’s the kind of special touch that makes Dusit Thani an unforgettable experience. Overall, Dusit Thani Bangkok is a perfect 10/10. The combination of exceptional service, breathtaking design, thoughtful amenities, and incredible attention to detail makes it one of the best luxury stays we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to return!

I stayed on Saturday night, and at the busy check-in there were some hick ups, but reception handled it professionally. Room was amazing (and quiet), I think around 50m2 and room design is a combination of modern with Thai influences. For ppl who take their work into the room, there are international electricity outlets everywhere and the amenities were hi-tech and branded. It is also easy to cast from your mobile to the tv. The bathroom has 2 sinks, a Bathtub (many mirrors) and a separate shower and hi-tech toilet. Bathrobes and towels are very fluffy and soft. Bathroom had 2 French doors so the bathroom integrates nicely into the bedroom but it also gives you privacy. View is spectacular overlooking Lumpini park and the skyline. I loved it that you can open/close the blinds from your comfy bed, especially when waking up. Fitness is basic with hi-tech machines. Both, fitness and the infinity pool have the same spectacular views as you have in your room. We had dinner at Pavillion which has Thai/chinese food which was very taste full. A bit pricey, but it is a 5 star hotel. Breakfast is also at Pavillion from 6 am to 1030 and has everything and more what you expect from a hotel of this high standard. They also have "bubbles" :) Location is in the business district. A 10 mins safe walk without any crossings to Silom road where there is a department store with ATM machines and many local shops and restaurants. A 5 mins walk more and there is a night market and the nightlife for the colourful LGBTQ community. The Skytrain and MRT are 2 mins from the department store so it is easy to get around in Bangkok. From the moment we arrived at the Dusit Thani, we were treated with exceptional customer service. Jain greeted us in the club lounge and made sure everything was taken care of. We seen the club lounge team twice every day when we went there for afternoon tea and then drinks and food in the evenings. Jain especially took care of us and made sure everything was perfect. Paying for a club room is worth the extra and the service we received from the team there would make us book it again. On the night before we left, Jain gave us a lovely card that had been written by the team and a lovely drawing of dogs on it as she knew we had visited the dog cafe that day. The rooms are beautiful and the whole hotel including the 1970 bar and the Spire are top quality. Breakfast was amazing too with lots of choice and amazing service every time. The club lounge team really stand out for us so thank you Jain and team, you all do an amazing job there! 5* service!!

Wife and I spent 3 nights here, before travelling on to Koh Samui. The hotel and the service were just both exceptional. We stayed in a deluxe corner suite and it was incredible with lovely views over the park. Breakfast was great, a big recommendation is the french toast. Probably not the healthiest to have every day for breakfast but I couldn’t resist it. Lots of other healthier options obviously. Room was great, very clean. Used the gym which was very good with new machines. I also had a massage in the wellness spa, and the masseuse was brilliant. On our 3rd day, bangkok was hit by the Myanmar earthquake. It was frightening for everyone and I saw both guests and staff in tears. The hotel handled it incredibly well though, evacuating everyone and then getting everyone water, towels and then some drinks when the all clear was given. Overall a fantastic experience and I can wholeheartedly recommend. Dean
